How remote assistance works

  1. Once you are on the phone with a technician, you will be directed to a special page.
  2. You will then be asked to download a small (virus-free) program.
  3. Once you run the program, enter your name and contact email address, the technician can then view your screen and share control of your mouse and keyboard as if physically there with you.
  4. You are always in full control of your computer all of the time. You always take control of the mouse and keyboard, and you can end remote access support session at any time by closing the software or pressing ‘end session’.
