The changing open world

I hope that you made the best of the bank holiday, I honestly cannot remember 3 days of solid rain for a long time.

This is a small petty notice, but one which at the same time is going to be fairly important in the long run.

theopenworld updateAs many of you may have noticed on the technician (core part, not the blogberry part) the colour scheme has changed. This is the first step in what will be a whole new look. Not just here, but across all theopenworld.com sites and businesses. Plus, more new services and features than you can shake your at!

It is a mammoth change, not just in look, but also under the bonnet. So that you, the user, will benefit. In all I have about 4,500 pages to write, recode and amend. You get the idea; a lot of work is ahead. So it will be out with the mysterious purple shades, and in with the midnight blue colours.

Not to worry though, normal technician business will be, with no service outages.

If you do find that pages have changed, or not where they originally were (i.e. you get the ‘this page cannot be displayed’) on any of theopenworld.com sites, just go back to where you started and press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh. That should get a new copy of the original page and take you to where you want to go.
