A folder is a file container on a disk. Like a folder in a real-world filing cabinet, you can store related files in the same folder to help organise your information.
For example your Documents folder might contain folders to help sort your various files out.
Backup is duplicate copy of a file. You should backup your data files regularly so you have a spare copy if the original is accidentally damaged or lost.

Malware is the merger of the words malicious and software. It is software designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner’s informed consent. The expression is a general term used by computer professionals to mean a variety of forms of hostile, intrusive, or annoying software or program code. The term ‘computer virus’ is sometimes used as a catch-all phrase to include all types of malware, including true viruses.
