Last week a customer asked me how to save photos someone has sent them from an email.
Simply right-clicking over any of the photos did not allow them to save it, nor would copy and paste, or clicking and dragging to a folder.

How can you not want to save a good photo from your email? Oh! and let sleeping dogs lie.
After a couple of minutes of fiddling around and a quick flash of inspiration, here is how:
- Double click on the message so it opens in its own window
- Click ‘other actions’ from the ribbon bar
- From the other actions menu click ‘view in browser’
- Browser window will open, normally in Internet Explorer
- Right click over each image and choose ‘Save picture as..’
- Save the photo to where you want it (normally your ‘Pictures’ Folder, or a folder of its own in that folder)
Done!
Easy really when you know how.
