Internet Explorer & Firefox get a serious update

First things first then. The main news is that Internet Explorer 7 has arrived, along with Firefox version 2.

Why is this so important you ask yourselves? Because both of the browsers have some new, key, but all essential features.

These mainly include a Phishing filter (so you are less likely to get caught out by a scammer after your money) and more easily accessible tabbed browsing (so you don’t have to have several windows open, just the one, but you can flick in between pages).

You can download either today from:
http://www.theopenworld.com/browsers/internet.explorer.7/ – for Internet Explorer 7

OR

http://www.theopenworld.com/golinks/frames/firefox.htm – for Firefox 2.

Both of the downloads are free and depending of which if your preference will be a mandatory download eventually in the coming days and weeks.
