This week, I’ll be doing both 1 and 2.
But here is a brilliant visualisation of the effect that the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull had on European aviation. The emptiness of the skies of north-western Europe on April 16th and 17th gradually gives way to a familiar frenzy. Flightradar24 is responsible for the data, which show some gaps in France and over the Atlantic.
