I think Sky is playing it safe, maybe a bit too safe for the likes of its customers.

Clearly a slow rollout rather than releasing the update into the wild in case there are some boxes which simply won&#039;t work the new EPG. Better that than hundreds / thousands of customers with broken boxes (imagine the admin backlog to get through that scenario!).</description>

		<description>Had brand new Amstrad box delivered and fitted friday(20/11) and guess what, it came with the old EPG and hasn&#039;t updated since being switched on. If update is out there why not supply it updated - despair

Whilst configuring with TV (Samsung 6000 series) I noted that when Sky selected on HDMI channel it came up with 50Hz.

I have queried sky and they tell me their HD Boxes are indeed only 50Hz so you will only get any 100Hz benefit from consoles &amp; DVD playes capable of out put of 100Hz - Swizz all round.
