Nano Tip: Testing your broadband speed

When testing your , don’t test the over a Wi-Fi connection.

Why, you ask? Because your Wi-Fi speed is different to actual broadband speed coming down the line. The data also takes longer to be transmitted backwards and forwards from your wireless router.

It’s therefore best to run the speed test directly plugged into your broadband modem or router.
