A second software update has been released for Live Mesh as of 24th March 2009. The update contains numerous bug fixes and new features.

More customers than ever are discovering the major benefits from the software for remote assistance, backing-up of files and folders, or synchronising their data quickly and easily from one computer to another. In the case of thetechangel.com it is also being used to safely and securely distribute invoices, receipts and other important documents.
New features for this edition include the ability to hide Live Mesh folders on the desktop, curtain mode is now properly supported on multiple-monitor computers running Windows Vista, and Live Mesh now remembers the last location used in the folder synchronization dialog.
The fixes to the current software include:
- Improved the update experience.
- Fixed display driver issue when disabling curtain mode.
- Optimized MOE CPU/memory use.
- Fixes to Live Mesh Remote Desktop performance and rendering.
- Device status (online/offline) now properly displayed on the Live Desktop, in the notifier, and in the Mesh bar.
- News now correctly displays the year.
- Fixed issue where Live Mesh Remote Desktop caused all Windows 7 windows to have black borders.
All customers and Live Mesh users are strongly adviced to update as soon as possible.
Simply right-click over the Live Mesh icon in the task bar and choose “check for updates”.
It is suggested that if users are prompted to install updates in the future automatically that they should check the box which will appear during the update process and apply. (see below for example)
