June 17th (tomorrow – this Tuesday) is the release date for Firefox version 3, Mozilla has confirmed.
Usual notable things about this
for Firefox users out there:-
- Security Enhancements
- New style download manager
- Full page zoom
- A smart web address bar that learns from your browsing habits
Users only need wait till tomorrow to get the free upgrade, but do keep in mind that last time a new release of Firefox happened, servers got a little busy with over a million downloads in the first hour.
Also, that although this is a real-world release, there can still be bugs etc even after beta testing. But nothing (hopefully) too bad, as normally the team at Mozilla bash out some pretty good software – first time.
