I always though that Touch Screens needed a little work done on them. Over the years, we have seen plenty of ideas and concepts but mainly ones that involve the user wearing a glove, or holding a special stylus or something else. Or they can’t deal with little-fingers, they need big stubby ones for the buttons on-screen, like the ones at the ticket kiosks in Tube stations.
A few weeks back, I saw this concept shown at an exhibition, the screen is interesting, and the demonstrator shows some decent, normal ideas and environments that this could be used in.
Notice how he uses everyday objects or his own fingers or fists to interact with the screen.

Now think a little further [after your have watched the video] to using this to slide (scroll) through your on-screen TV guide, or flying around Google Earth, or just sending a hand written note / email to someone.
This is something I think could take off. But as ever, we shall just have to wait and see.
