Microsoft is releasing a bunch of patches this week as part of September’s Windows Updates, five in total. There has been little in the way of what issues these address. There will be one high-priority update (non-security related) for an unidentified software package. It is however know that there is malware targeting machines running the MSN client software.
The important updates:-
- Microsoft Windows
- Live Messenger (formally MSN Messenger)
The other updates are for Visual Studio, SFU and SharePoint Server.
Further to this, there will be another Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool.
Be sure to run Windows Update, if your PC has not already done so.
