Adobe has released an update to Acrobat and Reader to resolve some security vulnerabilities for the popular PDF software.
According to a security bulletin posted on the Adobe site, the vulnerabilities could cause the applications to rash and possibly allow an attacker to take control of the system.
The firm also said that the update promises more stability in the software, but no new features.
It’s is highly recommended that users of the existing version 9 software, or earlier versions download and upgrade as soon as possible or when prompted.
