A software update has been released for Live Mesh as of May 11th. The update contains numerous bug fixes and new features.
Some customers are already seeing the major benefits from the software for remote assistance, backing-up of files and folders, or synchronising their data quickly and easily from one computer to another. In the case of thetechangel.com it is also being used to safely and securely distribute invoices, receipts and other important documents.
Some of the fixes to the software include:
- Fixed Internet Explorer 8 compatibility issues
- Updated date/time stamp UI for news events
- Fixed UI for folder permissions in Firefox 3.0, IE8, and Safari
- Improved performance and functionality for large file uploads
All customers and Live Mesh users are strongly advised to update as soon as possible.
Simply right-click over the Live Mesh icon in the taskbar and choose “check for updates”.
It is suggested that if users are prompted to install updates in the future automatically that they should check the box which will appear during the update process and apply.
